------ "IV Style 2nd Gen Vapid Staniers Police/Taxi/Noose" V 1.0 by Vx5 Voltage ------

Since GTA V, one thing that has bugged me was the original "Vapid Stanier" (seen in GTA IV as the main police/taxi cruisers) being confirmed to be a car from the 1990's within the Lore, and yet it is still used as the primary public service sedan of Liberty City even in 2008!
This mod aims to bring its more modern successor model from GTA V, known collectively within the fandom as the "2nd Gen Stanier" to IV with some enhancements and inspiration from the iconic Crown Vic P71, while still being faithful to Rockstars original crafted lore and designs!

As of V 1.0 this mod includes the following models:

2nd Gen Vapid Stanier - L.C.C Taxi Car (taxi)
2nd Gen Vapid Stanier - LCPD Police Cruiser (police)
2nd Gen Vapid Stanier - NOoSE Cruiser (noose)

Features:
* All basic vehicle functions full dirt mapping, proper LODs etc
* Overhauled 2nd Gen Stanier model, complete with GTA IV style panel gapping and stylings inspired by the original IV Stanier model,
* Bug fixes, model and texture improvements, new HQ interior textures and details, etc
* Toggleable vehicle extras for greater model variety
* All models are fully livery mapped with a template provided for creating skins!
* Lore Friendly CVPI style steelie wheels for all models
* Optional models that will bring back the vanilla GTA IV wheels
* Optional texture that brings back the clear indicator lights seen on the original GTA V model
* Optional textures that give Police more PCT/Unit codes
* Optional texture that gives the Taxi model a more modern Lore Friendly NYC Taxi design
* Optional texture to revert back to GTA IV's PIA livery for Noose
* Optional texture to revert back to GTA IV's vanilla Taxi ads

A big thank you to GCT for letting me use his original IV Stanier base model, without him this mod would not be possible. If you like this type of in-universe, lore friendly mods, then go check out some of his content, they are well worth your time!

The Police and Noose models uses the vanilla lighting system, Non-ELS and it will stay that way! Please don't ask for an ELS conversion, I have no interest in working on any ELS models at this time.

NOTE FOR ANY LIVERY MAKERS: While I have provided a 4k template for use with the model, I highly advise that you lower any liveries you may make down to 2k resolution (2048x2048 at DXT5 or DXT1 compression for example) as this is the optimal
size/compression ratio that GTA IV can handle loading into the games memory without issues, while still maintaining good texture quality for your liveries in-game. Anything else higher than 2k can lead to severe memory issues or even the game crashing entirely!

Installation:

1. Launch OpenIV

2. Navigate to: GTA IV / PC / models / cdimages / vehicles.img

3. Drag and drop the vehicle model files from this mods "Install" folder into vehicles.img

3.5 Do the same method for any models/texture files found within the "Optionals" section of this mod

4. Now within the "Install" open each vehicle models "Readme" file

5. Follow the instructions from each models own "Readme" file to install the relevant data lines for said models slot (carcosl, vehicles.ide etc can be found in: GTA IV / common / data /)

6. Enjoy, vehicles replace Police, Noose, and Taxi slots
